Small and medium-sized enterprises planning to research and develop new medical approaches often require support when transferring the findings from the laboratory stage to clinical trials on humans. The m4 Trial Service Center (TSC) serves as the central point of contact for consulting, mediation, planning and coordination in the field of clinical research. The partners in the Munich m4 cluster receive support from companies and academia and all other enterprises engaged in clinical research (CROs, laboratories, etc.). The aim is for ideas to lead to marketable results through well-planned and targeted studies. Its role as mediator and consultant enables the m4 Trial Service Center to complement the excellence of current and future preclinical/clinical research in the Munich region.
The joint initiative of the two hospitals Klinikum rechts der Isar (Technische Universität München) and Klinikum der Universität München (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München) will offer their own services and be responsible for the coordination and mediation of local expertise.
The focus is on the field of Personalized Medicine and Targeted Therapies, especially in translational medicine and in early trial phases (Phase I + IIa / Proof of Concept).
The m4 Trial Service Center helps to link clinical development and biomarker research and validation.
