- Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) with the Faculties of Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Medicine, Physics, the Gene Center and the Munich University Clinic
- Technische Universität München (TUM) with the Faculties of Chemistry, Medicine, Physics, the Weihenstephan Scientific Center for Nutrition, Land Use and Environment (WZW) and the hospital Klinikum rechts der Isar (MRI)
- The range of study courses offered is rounded off by the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences) and Hochschule München (Munich University of Applied Sciences).
